Subject: Re: Exmoor to Ultra in 6 weeks?
Hey Steve
You gotta go for it!! The Classic Quarter sounds such a great event, I'm thinking of it as a journey/adventure not a race although I'll try to do it as quickly as I can within reason. I've only ever ran 2 marathons, South Devon (Feb) and then the Exmoor last week. I was speaking to a girl the night before 'Exmoor' she seemed to be an average half marathon runner and has entered the Classic Quarter. I think there's gonna be such a mix of people of all abilities, from racing snakes to weekend joggers/ walkers. I'll be doing a few longish runs of 20 miles+ between now and then and
Good Luck and see you on the start line!!
Rob.
