Hi all!!
I was just wanted to pick some of you ultra runners brains.. i'm seriously considering the above race but haven't done anything like that before.. my mileage has picked a lot over the last year. my last race was the Exmoor coastal marathon which i completed without too many drama's. The thing is i am competing at Tough Guy at the end of july, so this will give me 4 weeks in which i will need to pick up my speed/power work!!, is that enough?? or will i still be a mess by tough guy? Also nutrition during the race?? is it just gels or would we need something more substantial?? If anyone can help i would be very great full...
