Senior Employment Advisor and Employment Advisor Recruitment    

Richmond Fellowship are recruiting to their Supported Employment team in Leatherhead. 

Richmond Fellowship is one of the biggest providers of mental health care in the country. Every year, we work with thousands of people who are living with the effects of serious mental health problems, often exacerbated by issues such as sexual abuse, or drugs and alcohol. RF helps people to gain a new sense of purpose and fulfilment, making a real contribution to their recovery. RF offers a wide range of housing, care and community support services, and works extensively with people who might otherwise be excluded from the workplace because of mental ill health.

 

Surrey PCT have commissioned RF to deliver evidence based IPS employment services, and we are recruiting staff to full time and part time posts for this contract at our Mid Surrey service based in Leatherhead.  With the option of utilising training, work experience and work placements, we primarily provide the IAG support required within a comprehensive partnership working model to support people
back to work.

 

The starting salary ranges are dependant on experience.


Senior Employment Adviser                                                                                Leatherhead, Surrey
£20,552 - £24,509 per annum

You will head a team of advisors in an evidence-based mental health employment service, assisting people with severe mental health problems to access employment, education, training and community based activities. This role provides an opportunity to work with a wide range of external partners and develop links with prospective employers. You will supervise the team to meet contract performance
expectations. Managing a client caseload, you’ll provide information, advice and guidance to individual clients, assessing need, and agreeing a vocational action plan. As such you’ll possess or be willing to gain a relevant IAG qualification. You’ll have a proven ability to communicate at all levels, experience of working to targets and have an understanding of mental health issues, probably coming from a training, guidance, advice or recruitment background. Car owner/driver essential. Ref: 08/46

Employment Advisers                                                                                        Leatherhead, Surrey
£17,250 - £20,552 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)

By providing information advice and guidance to people disadvantaged through mental ill health, you’ll assist with their progression into employment. You’ll assess individual employment needs and develop individualised action plans in agreement with our clients. You’ll manage your own diary and keep accurate database records of your casework. Linking with employers and partner agencies for training, education, and clinical support, you’ll have strong interpersonal skills, and proven time management and administration abilities. You must have a customer focussed background, preferably in guidance, training and education, advice and counselling or recruitment. An NVQ4 in IAG or an ability to train for this, and being a car driver/owner is required. Ref: 08/47 – full-time,

or 08/48 – part-time, 18.75 hrs pw.
