Anyone else have this on a oneT out of the box?  And if they do have
they discovered if it is hardware or software causing the failure?

record works only with external microphone.

I bought one of these:

It is from Konig type CMP-9 mini microphone,  works great and is very small.

thanks ofor that idea Leven!  Although I have no mic I do have a
cam... though whether I choose to carry it with my netbook is a
separate question it gives me options!

To all - what is that little hole right of centre at the back of
keyboard for then?  I assumed it was a mic built in!
