I'm still here - things are a bit quiet at the moment - apart from the
new versions of the machine which Maplin are advertising - Maplin have
some "B-grade" ONEt equivalents at around £90 - meanwhile Elonex have
sold out of ONEt's and have moved on to promoting an eBook being sold
by Borders bookshop...
I'm still busy using my ONEt - was on another National Express East
Coast train last week and successfully did all my emailing using the
ONEt while on the train using NXEC's free wifi - then when I got to my
sister's I happily used her WPA wifi - so I'm now generally confident
that wifi works reasonably well - I have downloaded all the available
wifi updates and even so I sometimes get "Not Connect" when trying to
connect - but a second click of the Connect button usually sorts that
out - when at a distance from the router it helps to have the ONEt
connected to the mains rather than using batteries - but I was fine
for a couple of hours on battery on the train.
If you do have any news, please let us know...
