I am running an Aggregate Levy and Heritage Lottery funded 'Dormouse'
project covering two local authorities in England.
I have been checking nets boxes and working with volunteers to put up
dormouse survey tubes. In 2006 we put up 1,300 tubes but found no
dormice. We have found 2 new records through hazel nut hunts.
I know that lots of people are currently involved in dormice surveys
and I thought it would be useful to set up an email group where
surveyors can share ideas and seek advice.
