Guys, how can I do it?

$pager->getQuery()->addWhere( sprintf('%s.name ilike ?',
$pager->getQuery()->getRootAlias() ), $request->getParameter('name') );

the parameter name can be some like this "%ho?tel%"

i'm using doctrine 1.2..

I'm using postgresql and the placeholder is _ instead of ?.
