Sorry to hear your tale, and to be very slow to reply to you.
Groups you may or may not be aware of are:
Congleton Cycling Campaign (website is www.congletoncycling.co.uk)
including joining the Cheshire East Cycling Campaign discussion group
(the link is on the home page of the CCC site). The CCC hoped to be
in talks with Northern Rail about secure cycle parking, but this has
yet to happen.
Also East Cheshire Line Rail Users Group (ECLRUG) which doesn't have a
website, but contact details are on the local rail timetables.
