Description:
We are a local group of the CTC based in Witney. We range in age from 14 to 70+, we’re not a racing team but we do like to get a few miles in. We ride all manner of machines: MTBs, hybrids, tourers, racers, even a tricycle. The CTC is Britain’s national cycling organisation - see www.ctc.org.uk.

Any more offers to lead rides?
|

On Thursday, I need to send the rides list for inclusion in the Oxford
Cyclist. There are still a few rides without leaders. Would anyone
like to take any of these on?
Cheers

Sunday Ride 9:30am Buttercross
|
| |
Sunday weather is going to be windy, probably cloudy, but hopefully
dry. I'm planning a flat upwind dash to Lechlade, then cross wind to
Uffington, and down wind home. Around 50 miles with 2 stops.
Bad weather alternative will be shorter and more sheltered. Note to
9:30 am start time.
Cheers... more »

I've been hoodwinked into riding to London for the climate protest on Dec 5th. We'll be riding in on the Friday, staying in Islington on Friday and Saturday nights, and making our way back Sunday. (Well most of them will, I'm going to Roehampton for a Limbless Association AGM and returning Monday).... more »

For those not attending the CTC Oxon AGM ...and willing to brave the elements !...I shall be leading a ride this Saturday, starting at the earlier time of 11.00 from Cogges Farm Museum. I'm not sure where I will be going yet..I might just wait and see which way the wind is blowing...but it will be the usual 25 to 35 miles with a cafe stop mid way and mostly on-road. Hope to see you on Saturday. Regards, Chris.... more »

Sunday ride 25th October
|

I'll be doing a ride on Sunday out to Bourton on the water, down to
Lechlade and back. Not sure how far that is. Probably about fourty
miles or so. I'll be going off road between Taynton which is just West
of Burford up to Great Rissington. Nice and easy tracks but you can
take the road from Taynton and meet up in Great Rissington if you... more »

Sunday Ride - 18th October, 9am.
|
| |
As the weather forecast is good for this Sunday, I'm considering a
ride to Bucks Railway Centre (which I had to cancel previously due to
poor weather) if there's sufficient interest.
This Sunday is their Autumn Steam Fair so there will be a number of
engines in steam. The price of admission is consequently slightly... more »
