My personal views are that it is a good idea but and there is always "a
but" that a few of us do not have direct access to the rear of our
properties (Terraced) and i have  30 ft and step to the bridal path.

I would have preferred to have individual boxes or containers to put
recyclables in.  This would be more cost efficient, as the recyclables
would not have to be sorted after they have been picked up.
