  I just realised there&#39;s a flaw in this as (it seems) &lt;br&gt; PassOptionsToPackage is only for future RequirePackage and thus it won&#39;t &lt;br&gt; work after the package xolor has been loaded, which is the case in the &lt;br&gt; code above. &lt;br&gt; Leo

  Whenever there is a new active maintainer, &lt;br&gt; PLEASE remove the line &lt;br&gt; \def\show#1?{\toks255{#1}\type out{\the\toks255}} &lt;br&gt; from ucsencs.def. It&#39;s some leftover garbage from debugging. &lt;br&gt; Unhappily \show is usually a TeX primitive very useful for debugging &lt;br&gt; and its redefinition is quite a annoyance. &lt;br&gt; I had reported this to Dominik Unruh, he agrees, but didn&#39;t

  Weeelllll..... I don&#39;t think it is correct. The waiting period is &lt;br&gt; there for when &lt;br&gt; an author/maintainer disappears without turning over the software, but &lt;br&gt; in &lt;br&gt; this case I would read the statement &amp;quot;New maintainer welcome&amp;quot; as &lt;br&gt; turning over stewardship, thus removing the need for a waiting period. &lt;br&gt; It would probably be best to wait at least *some* time though.
