Inspired by the XAUG, thinking about setting up an all-welcome Acorn
user email list. How about the "Lonely hearts Acorn User Group". Only
exclusions: married people and political/religious discussion ? Could
this get on riscository? :)

Not very impressive, I agree, but no worse than all the Brits who work
overseas without leaning the local language - that's very common, I'm
afraid. Everyone who works here should learn our local language, of
course but, in my experience, a much higher percentage of foreigners speak
english than Brits speak another language. A sympathetic attitude can do

Well here with the plugins disabled, itdoes produce an error, but when
you click on the cancel in that error box, the page is still loaded
and looks fine. In fact it looks like a nice monitor !

No. Disable plugins and it works. It's a known bug (there's at least 10
reports of this on our bug tracker). It won't, however, be fixed any
time soon, as I'd rather it was done properly, and that requires a
rather large amount of work (and thus, time). Additionally, as the state
of plugins on RISC OS is so bad and the workaround is trivial, this isn't
