Just received an attachment of a form to be filled in. Trouble is I can't open it. It says Data in a blue box, and underneath has booking_form_(2008_)00125/xls. Is there anyway I can open it please. Tried easywriter.

It is an MS Excel file. I am surprised you have never come across one before. You can view it using Anton Reiser's ViewXLS utility but you cannot fill it in.

Ta! for that. Where do I get the ViewXLS from. Can I transfer the opened file to somewhere here I can fill it in?

I don't have to fill it in on line,if I can print it out to fill in and then send snail mail that would suffice.
Dave.

You can save the spreadsheet in Draw format, so it can be exported to pretty much any RISC OS software that prints, or you can save as a CSV or TSV file which can be imported in to a RISC OS spreadsheet program. -- Brian Howlett - Email to From: address deleted unseen ----------------------------------------------------- Karl Marx's grave. It can save as a Draw file which you can then print!

I thought Schema2 could only access Excel fils that had been saved as HTML?
