Subject: how do I open this one please
Just received an attachment of a form to be filled in. Trouble is I
can't open it. It says Data in a blue box, and underneath has
booking_form_(2008_)00125/xls.
Is there anyway I can open it please. Tried easywriter.

It is an MS Excel file. I am surprised you have never come across one
before. You can view it using Anton Reiser's ViewXLS utility but you
cannot fill it in.

Ta! for that. Where do I get the ViewXLS from. Can I transfer the
opened file to somewhere here I can fill it in?

You can get ViewXLS from - http://home.allgaeu.org/areiser/riscos/

You can save the spreadsheet in Draw format, so it can be exported to
pretty much any RISC OS software that prints, or you can save as a CSV
or TSV file which can be imported in to a RISC OS spreadsheet program.

In article <4ae56cd64f.Da...@mail.daveandsylvia.plus.com>, Dave

http://home.allgaeu.org/areiser/riscos/software/index.html

It can save as a Draw file which you can then print!

I thought Schema2 could only access Excel fils that had been saved as
HTML?
