Really a hardware issue. FUs setup.
Well, I don't really print from RISC OS these days, but I have this
too, and it seems upset - multiple power cycles before it will come
up without flashing amber. I've tried suggested resets, and I see
references to cleaning out the waste ink counter:
[link]

Today I was working on my Iyonix which is slightly more than one year old. I
was working normaly and then restarted the computer at one point but it did
not start anymore.
I think it might have to do with the graphics card or the HD. If I start the
computer there is absolutely nothing on the monitor, it does not even leave

In my junk box I have a hard drive marked 'Viglen Drive 0' and '40M'. It's
an ST506 drive that's really an NEC D5146H, with a date code of 1986.12.
Given the Viglen label I think it's highly likely it was used in a BBC
Micro. It's just the ST506 mechanism - no extra bridge boards.
I received it a few years ago after a call for scrap drives - but I suspect
