  No, but you do need the feet (or a couple of strips of wood) to raise &lt;br&gt; the case from the supporting desk, otherwise the ventilation grill will &lt;br&gt; be blocked. You also need to check that the CD drive can retain a CD, &lt;br&gt; when operating on its side. &lt;br&gt; Tony

  Then you take it out and wash it. I&#39;ve done this several times with my Canon &lt;br&gt; printers. If you leave it too long then the ink in the region of the waste &lt;br&gt; discharge tube &#39;sets&#39; into a solid goo and blocks the tube, so it is worth &lt;br&gt; the trouble to do it regularly and it&#39;s not too messy since, as you say, &lt;br&gt; it&#39;s just a big felt pad.

  FWIW, I&#39;ve had success in using RPCEmu under Linux to build the ROOL code. &lt;br&gt; It&#39;s reasonably quick too (compared to my RPC). I haven&#39;t timed it, but I&#39;d &lt;br&gt; guess something like an hour to build the whole tree on an Athlon XP 2600 &lt;br&gt; (so fairly old). I just put on the standard boot sequence, unpacked the &lt;br&gt; recent C/C++ CD, and away it went.

  I had a similar problem with my HP Photosmart C6180. The HP website &lt;br&gt; gave me a video of how to clear a paper jam and bits of paper which &lt;br&gt; stop the printer clearing the jam. Give the website a try. &lt;br&gt; Saxon

Quite what is a bit difficult to tell from &lt;br&gt; a distance. &lt;br&gt; You sure it&#39;s not some kind of glue/rubber gone a bit soft? &lt;br&gt; I&#39;d try measuring the resistance between power and ground. It&#39;s possible &lt;br&gt; one of those capacitors has gone short circuit, and the DC-DC is trying to &lt;br&gt; drive into a short (which might cause some heating/burning, so watch for
