  At the risk of asking an obvious question - what is the latest RISC OS &lt;br&gt; hardware? According to CJE - the A9home is - but according to wikipedia &lt;br&gt; this was 2005 vintage?   No, but you do need the feet (or a couple of strips of wood) to raise &lt;br&gt; the case from the supporting desk, otherwise the ventilation grill will &lt;br&gt; be blocked. You also need to check that the CD drive can retain a CD, &lt;br&gt; when operating on its side. &lt;br&gt; Tony

  Then you take it out and wash it. I&#39;ve done this several times with my Canon &lt;br&gt; printers. If you leave it too long then the ink in the region of the waste &lt;br&gt; discharge tube &#39;sets&#39; into a solid goo and blocks the tube, so it is worth &lt;br&gt; the trouble to do it regularly and it&#39;s not too messy since, as you say, &lt;br&gt; it&#39;s just a big felt pad.
