Subject: Playing old games with RISC OS 4.02?
Hi all

I'm looking to play some old 4th Dimension games on my PC (I'm using
Windows XP Home Edition), and I'd like to know whether the "Virtually
Free" RISC OS 4.02 [1] together with one of the free emulators will do
the job, and if so, which emulator would people recommend?

If there is a more place to ask this than these newsgroups, please let
me know. Thanks.

!A310Emu. But this is an emulator still for the RiscPC self, isn't it?
I have no experience with RISC OS Emulators for PC but if you want to
play * very * old games you should look for an emulator which runs an
older machine like the A5000. Many old games aren't working with RISC
OS 4 and newer anymore (that's why we have !A310?).

Arculator's pretty good, although you'll need a source for RISC OS
3.11 ROMs.
