I'm looking to play some old 4th Dimension games on my PC (I'm using Windows XP Home Edition), and I'd like to know whether the "Virtually Free" RISC OS 4.02 [1] together with one of the free emulators will do the job, and if so, which emulator would people recommend?
If there is a more place to ask this than these newsgroups, please let me know. Thanks.

!A310Emu. But this is an emulator still for the RiscPC self, isn't it? I have no experience with RISC OS Emulators for PC but if you want to play * very * old games you should look for an emulator which runs an older machine like the A5000. Many old games aren't working with RISC OS 4 and newer anymore (that's why we have !A310?).

Arculator's pretty good, although you'll need a source for RISC OS 3.11 ROMs.
