Whatever happened to the UPP version of scummvm?

It appears to no longer exist on riscos.info, and it's not in riscpkg
either.

[Post I just happened to see, but could have easily missed due to the
not-very descriptive subject]

I'm afraid yet another ill-directed post at csa.* (where almost no one
who is reading it can do anything) is unlikely to lead to any kind of
resolution, it certainly doesn't improve my enthusiasm to address the
issue, if the questioner can't make the most basic of effort (This also
refers to another similar recent post).

This is in constrast to a properly directed email at myself, or the
GCCSDK mailing list (which is the correct forum for riscos.info), which
could have lead to an immediate fix.

Peter's saying that things get fixed quicker if you tell the people
responsible for them, rather than asking in a public forum that those
responsible may not read.

I didn't know it was broken. As far as I knew it had been withdrawn for
a particular reason.

Thanks for the reply.

Read it again; it's not like I used a foreign language.

So, again, exactly what were you hoping for with your post, when almost
nobody here can do anything, and asking me directly might actually clear
up any assumptions?

Er, yeah.  Of _course_ you will - I'm asking a question so I can find
out - indeed, it seems that _you_ don't know.  But it seems at this
impasse you're unwilling to do the right thing or even bother to make
any effort, so your issue will go unresolved.  Your loss.

It was more a curiousity thing than anything else, I have a house full
of PCs (running linux and windows) and a GP2X that run scummvm happily.
(okay not all of them run it, but they can).

But then again, it's unlikely you'd be reading this news group since
other than the last 4 days you will almost certainly not be reading it.

An you are right, a scumm interpreter that is used exclusively for
playing games, running on a computer (that is still an acorn machine).
bears no relevance to csa.games. Sorry.

The original point has obviously gone way over your head, or is of
no interest to you.  I won't waste any more energy with your
pointless flippancy.
