An original copy? I think it's was released on a coverdisc at some point.

If anyone knows which cover I'll look it up. If it's on an Acorn User cover you should be able to see it at www.acornuser.com

A demo was release on either Acorn Computing or Archemedes World back in the 90's
Don't recall a full version ever being released tho.

I think you're right. Fervour had some groovy piano music IIRC. I think they made a bit of a mistake by including at least one very difficult level with the demo which actually put me off buying the full version because I couldn't complete it.

I have a suspicion that the full version was released on a cover disc at some point. At any rate, I'm sort of sure that I played the full version at some time, didn't have a pirate copy, and didn't borrow it. Or I may be thinking about the IIRC similar Phaethon, which was on Acorn Arcade.

Your colleague searched for me already, hence the request on here.
However I am now in contact with a kind soul, who does have a copy.

It was the demo that made me buy it back then. Got rid of it when I sold my A3010 and got my RISC PC. It didn't work too well on that. Now I got an old A410/1 I want it again to play it! The music on it was alsobjust so catchy.
If APDL manage to find the source code for it amongst the stuff they got from Clares, I think it would make a wonderful game to be 32bitted and updated to make use of modern Hi Res monitors.

I've a vague recollection I did manage to get Fervour working on a Risc PC, except for the music which I couldn't work out what funkiness it was doing. Might be wrong though.
