I am competing in the Southwater Sprint Triathlon this coming Sunday 4th
September, and will be raising money for the Hospice movement.

This will be my first ever Triathlon and consists of a 400m Swim, 18.5km
Cycle and a 3.8km Run. The cycle and run are not on the flat:-(
I have been doing swimming training for some years but only started training
for the Cycling and Running this year. My aim is just to complete the 22.7km
course

The money raised will be split between two Hospices, my local St Barnabas's
http://www.stbarnabas-hospice.org.uk/  and one in a deprived area.
A recent TV program reported that 'middle class areas' such as mine, had a
much better Hospice service than other areas. I am looking for
recommendations for a suitable Hospice in a 'deprived area'.

I already have received nearly 300 gbp worth of sponsorship since Sunday:-)
