Hi,
I'm developing an application for Minix3, but I have experienced
strange behaviour of RS server while debugging. It seems it doesn't
work as it was defined.
For example, DS daemon has its PID in Minix3 source code set as
DS_PROC_NR number 6. When I send kill DS, or use "service" to refresh
DS (which sends kill anyway, based on RS source code) DS receives kill

 You see the boot monitor's prompt. The code d0p2s0 represents your
disk and partition where the bootloader is installed.
If you enter
boot
then the default minix image will boot.
For a detailed description of the boot monitor, see the man page for
monitor (e.g. login to the system then type
man monitor).

I'm just using
"printf()" statements at the PM server, which works fine (everything is
printed to the terminal just nicely), however, I would like to print to

 HI, I am new here and new to Minix and probably this is very simple
but I need to make some modifications to the memory.c file in minix3
in order to create a custom Ram Disk called /dev/mydisk with size 16
Mb. Any ideas on what should I modify, or at least some example ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

 Hi All,
I've been working on getting Minix to be built on Linux. I am
currently trying to make sure Minix boots up fine after being loaded
by GRUB.
GRUB loads Minix at 1M (physical address). So, I think this is what I
need to do - in start.c
kinfo.code_base = 0x100000;
kinfo.code_size = (phys_bytes) &etext; // My understanding is that I
