Subject: Is there a FAQ...?

...I've been lurking and caught up on about 2 weeks worth of
messages. From what I can see, Minix looks _verrry_ interesting. Now, the
good stuff (and the dumb questions)
    a) Will Minix use the 4 Megs of memory I have on my 386?
Will it do so if I apply the "386 patches"?
    b) Does Minix have trouble with Perstor controllers?
       C: - F: are 32 megs, G: is 12 megs. I use Disk Manager 3.2 (yes,
old...) to give me that extra partition. FDISK only allows me 4
partitions. What will the combination produce for me?
    c) I'm trying to get a hold of Prentice-Hall, who appears to sell it.
What comes with the package? Cost? What version do I demand from them to
insure they're not clearing their warehouse?
    d) It looks like Minix allows remote logins through RS-232. Can it
use dumb terminals? PC's?
    e) What systems is it available for? Obviously, I want the PC
version.
    f) Is there a mailing list I can get on for Minix?
