My Epson V200 scanner just crapped out on me.  I
am going to order a new scanner in the AM.  What
do you guys like?

Thank you for the tip on avasys.jp!   The V300 looks good.  And
I downloaded that latest driver too.

Probably one of the most important features is teh speed of scanning--
log at the time per line of the scanners. for example, I originally
bought and Epson 1600 and found it horribly slow, but the cheaper 1200
was much faster-- it has worked well for the past 6 years.

Anyway, pay attention to speed or you will be cursing the scanner.
