Thanks Dave, but what if I don't know which printer/printer queue the
port is currently assigned to?  Basically I want to find out which is
in use before using specific ESC codes.  So if port 10 is using
printer 0 it needs the ESC code set for the Lexmark printer.  If it's
using printer 1 it requires the ESC code set for the HP printer.

I'm assuming when SETPTR is used it actually assigns the printer to
the current port, which is not what I want to do in this instance.
