Hi there,
A 17 year old Gannet was just found off Cosqueville ( Manche ) on 9th August 2009 by a fisherman dead off the French coast opposite us. It was ringed on 19th June 1993 on the Etacs off Alderney. In Jersey now two Red-breasted Geese with the feral geese behind St Ouens Pond I wondered if they are wild! If they are they are a first record for our islands.In Guernsey a Red-throated Pipit and in Jersey still lots of birds lingering like Sandwich Terns in Grouville Bay due to mild weather!
