On Saturday 21st November, I attended the Ramblers Association North &
Mid Cheshire Area AGM on behalf of Cheshire Walkers. A very
interesting presentation was given by Harry Mycock who is a Trustee of
the RA (one of the fifteen or so people who have responsibility for

Pistyll Rhaeadr - was the start point for David's walk over the
Berwyns. The day dawned quite bright, but on the tops quite cold and
misty till we climbed down on the lower slopes. We did manage Cadair
Berwyn and Cadair Bronwen but sadly no views.

Snowdon - the quiet paths

Nine of us gathered all on time at Rhyd Ddu, the weather not quite as
the forecast, rather dull, but some visability.
The Rhyd Ddu Path is a pleasant quiet way up Snowdon, far from the

Chester railway station & getting the train back to Chester at the end

Hawes is a beautiful Yorkshire village, an ' un- corporate high street

Kinder Skyline Challenge Walk

Many thanks to the group members who came along, the weather forecast
was a ' severe weather warning ' for the central part of the UK.

A thank you to Charles for kindly filling in for Andrew and taking us
through the Irwell Valley, with ' interesting sculptures ' along the
way. The River path gave way to views to Holcombe Tower, and the huge

Easter Weekend in the Brecon Beacons.

The drive on Good Friday was firstly in drizzle, but still good views
through the Dofor Hills beyond Newtown, and very pleasant weather on
