A thank you to Kirsty for taking us around the Erdigg Estate,
rainbows, showers, bulls, cows and a bit of mud followed us all the
way !!!.

A warm cosy cafe to finish and some interesting Christmas craft stalls
completed an enjoyable day, I have managed to upload a few pictures
too.

The Berwyns - A November Walk

Pistyll Rhaeadr - was the start point for David's walk over the
Berwyns. The day dawned quite bright, but on the tops quite cold and
misty till we climbed down on the lower slopes. We did manage Cadair
Berwyn and Cadair Bronwen but sadly no views.

Snowdon - the quiet paths

Nine of us gathered all on time at Rhyd Ddu, the weather not quite as
the forecast, rather dull, but some visability.
The Rhyd Ddu Path is a pleasant quiet way up Snowdon, far from the

A different night last Saturday !!! for those who had not been to a
Ceilidh before. A lively compare and a great trio of musicians.

Thank you to Andrew for organising the event, which was planned a year

A brilliant group weekend in the High Mountains of Scotland. The
weather was quite kind, good views for much of the time although on

walkers about the history of Delamere Forest so i've had a look in an
interesting book - Trees and Woodlands of Cheshire by Richard Smart,

I've had a couple of queries regarding people joining the group at
Chester railway station & getting the train back to Chester at the end
of the walk. Basically the walk should not take more than 5 hours
plus breaks so we should be back at Delamere in time for the 4.27
train to Chester if everyone in the group walks at a brisk pace. The

Hawes Weekend

An amazing weekend, brilliant weather, delightful scenery, great
company along the way.

Hawes is a beautiful Yorkshire village, an ' un- corporate high street
' a good selection of shops all locally owned,and a sprinkling of pubs

Kinder Skyline Challenge Walk

9 of us completed the whole circuit by 7.30pm. It was a lovely day,
perfect walking weather and fantastic views all day. Only a couple of
