Nine of us gathered all on time at Rhyd Ddu, the weather not quite as
the forecast, rather dull, but some visability.
The Rhyd Ddu Path is a pleasant quiet way up Snowdon, far from the
madding crowds, with an interesting ridge section not far from the
summit. The new cafe is a welcome change form the outdated one which
was well past it's sell by date, even 20 years ago !!.
Our descent was via the Ranger Path, again very quiet, just the nine
Cheshire Walkers, a traverse across the old slate mine, across some
soggy terrain, in a drizzle !!.
Our thanks to Nigel for doing the reccie in the summer, and for
leading us on what must be the quietest ways up and down Snowdon.
I did manage a view pictures and uploaded them onto the photo pages.
