Judging from my experience, a typical trip could cost anywhere from $2,500 and up. It all depends on whether you are going with a group or by yourself. In either case consult with a travel agent first. If you are near to Chinatown, check with one of the local agencies that cater to Chinese. One piece of advice, do not go next year. The Olympics will inflate the prices on all packages to unreasonable heights. Wait until 2009 to visit. Are you interested in going with a group for Taiji purposes?
Thank you for your advise. Never thought of next years Olymics. Will only be going to practice Tai-Chi,but wouldn't mind getting a part time job whilst there.Shall start looking into it and will let you know how it goes.

...I cant really answer that question definitevly but I do appreciate the info. I guess it would have to be a group, but I'd probably enjoy it more alone.
