Subject: Tai Chi in the University area of Beijing
While staying near Tsinghua University, I stumbled across a
traditional Tai Chi class run by Tian Qiuxin (I think that is his
name).

Whether I have his name right or not, he is most definately the
younger brother of Tian Qiutian, and nephew and disciple of Tian
Xiuchen.

On www.chinafrominside.com, it says of this line of Chen style: <<Tian
Xiuchen was one of [the] best disciples of Chen Fake and Tian's form
is considered to be the closest to that of Chen Fake.>>, so if you are
in the University area of Beijing, it's worth checking out.

Most of the Universities in Beijing are clustered together: Tsinghua
Daxue, Beijing Daxue, and The Beijing Language and Cultural
University, are all within a few minuits walk from each other.

The class convenes every week day at 5.00pm-6.00pm at the picnic area
in the park opposite the entrance to Tsinghua's library. They train on
weekends too, but I can't remember when.

Its going to be much more authentic than the stuff that the University
departments put on for you. So check it out,

Cheers

Dan
