Good to see the number of posts increasing - shame that we are not
getting more input from a wider audience. The important thing is that
the opportunity is there for people to offer their views.
The door knocking is continuing but progress is slow due to the sheer
number of properties on the estate. Once the results are in we will
be able to feed back the views of the community.
The estate flyer has been posted to let people have a look at our
contact details. If any existing posters want to discuss any of the
isssues raised on the discussion board our freephone number is 0800
073 1051.
Open communities is a Welsh and English government approved agency.
As such, we gaurantee confidentiality of information gathered in the
survey. Each questionnaire has a unique code which enables us to
monitor feedback. It also enables us to enter all completed and
returned survey questionnaires in the prize draw.

This is directed to the adminastrator, I have thought about your
previous update an feel that I need to take issue with some of your
points.
Ther first is your response to answering questions on this sight, I
feel this is an ideal oppertunity for people to view the responces to
questions asked, if you ask anyone who knows me I rarely use the
phone, so I would much rather have my questions answered on this sight
enabling others to enter in to the debate. I apoligise if you feel
this means that I do not trust your answers but I feel that there is
more than just one or two opinions out there. As an independant
advisor i feel that you have an obligation with the facts, should this
not be possible through the medium of this sight then I would
appreciate a swift response.
The second point is about the flyers, I have so far seen none around
the estate, I thought they would of been in the information stands
supplyed by Communities First. The only one that I have seen a copy of
is on this site. I once again reiterate my point of view that there is
a lack of promotion regarding this project and its overall aims. I
appreciate that there was an excellent article in the Communities
First Regeneration Newsletter, but I still feel that it is limited in
its information.
On a more positive note, It is nice to hear that there is a positive
response from members from this community, but the main point for me
that I want to get across, is many people are saying nothing , whilst
those that are ain't saying much. As a member of this community I want
to know who is making decisions about my life and why. Where is the
constitution and mission statement of this group, and who are
considered partners in this enterprise.

I have been made aware that organisations and individuals are
monitoring this sight, as many of those on the housing sub group have
not got a computer, I can understand there lack of comment, but what
about everyone else, surely they could elect a spokesperson or there
is a proffessional out there to offer them support?
If this current project is not about stock transfer then I feel that
you need to amend your opening statement,
"The Caia Park project is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government
through the Tenant Empowerment Grant initiative. The Caia Park
Advisory Panel was successful in securing the funding in order to
consult with the residents of Caia Park about the future of social
housing in their area. The Panel are concerned that Wrexham County
Borough Council are unable to achieve the Welsh Housing Quality
Standard after a 'No' vote in a stock transfer ballot in 2005. The
aim of the project is to consult the local community on the
possibility of a Tenant Led Stock Options and/or Tenant Management."
Explaining exactly what this is about, I once again ask for details of
this projects aims and objectives, suggesting that residents and
tennants are entitled to a frank and open debate.
