The Caia Park project is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government through the Tenant Empowerment Grant initiative.  The Caia Park Advisory Panel was successful in securing the funding in order to consult with the residents of Caia Park about the future of social housing in their area.  The Panel are concerned that Wrexham County Borough Council are unable to achieve the Welsh Housing Quality Standard after a 'No' vote in a stock transfer ballot in 2005.  The aim of the project is to consult the local community on the possibility of a Tenant Led Stock Options and/or Tenant Management..
