Subject: e-commerce and Dyanmic site
Hi,

We haven't been able to tracking e-commerce features of GA for some
time now.  After doing research and trying new things the only
conclusion we can think of is that GA does not support e-commerce
tracking on a dynamic web site.  Is this true?

No, in fact GA will ONLY track an e-commerce transaction on a
"dynamic" page (ie. a page that "dynamically" inserts the real
transaction details like order id, subtotal, etc into the javascript
function).

The E-commerce code usually requires some customization to work with
your e-commerce platform, but the most important part is that when you
do a view source of your order confirmation page the E-commerce code
should look nearly identical to the same provided in Google's help
docs.

Thanks for replying.  My developer had given up.  I will give him your
answer and ask him to keep working at it.
