Subject: OT: Requesting a favor
Would someone be willing to check something out for me?

Go to http://www.axiotron.com
Click "Order" in the navigation bar to find out where the dealers are.
If you are in range of one of these, could you be so kind as to stop in
and try out the product?  I'm interested in knowing:

1. Would a non-technical person with only one arm have difficulty
    maneuvering the case itself?

2. Would she have any trouble websurfing with Safari
or doing e-mail on the Mac side

3. Is the handwriting recognition usable on the Mac side?
If it exists on the Windows side, does it work?

Any other comments?

If you are a non-technical person yourself, your comments
would be that much more valuable.  And if you, too, recently
lost an arm.....  :-)

And if you know of a decent Windows tablet for the above
usage scenario (one arm, e-mail and websurfing, not a
risk of drop damage) that doesn't cost two thousand U.S.
dollars, I'd like to here about that, too.

Thanks, I will.  Or I may just post that I decided to
take the chance and buy one.

I see that one dealer is 35 miles from my sister's house,
but she's not home for the next three weeks!  (Besides,
a second opinion would be nice.)
