Shelf life of meds

I found some meds in a drawer I was cleaning out. Expiration date is '93 (the meds, not the drawer). One script is Oxycodone and the other is Codeine. I'm familiar with both meds, and remember why I got them, and they do seem like a couple of good meds to keep around in case of an emergency.
