Programming sat Rx with channel list from internet

Hi all,
I have four sat recievers, a Humax VACI5300, a Humax CI5100, An Echostar
DSB2200 and a Echostar DSB707.
I have Satcodx's World of Satellites II software on my PC, so I can create a
file that contains all the recievable channels for my particular longitude,
latitude and dish size.
Now I need to get this channel list into all four of my recievers.

Got your Fransat box, TIVU box, TeleSat box, Sky box, etc. etc. ?
I appear to have given you the wrong impression.
The Italian FTA channels of RAI and Mediaset on Hotbird continue as before.
All that has changed is the appearance of the blue screen notice instead of
a blank screen on those occasions when Mediaset Canale 5 carries premium

It has been mentioned here that the high bit rate Mediaset Canale 5 on
Hotbird is now fully encrypted, with a low bit rate FTA version alongside.
I don't watch the channel much, but this morning noticed a bluescreen
message on the FTA channel. (maybe it's been there for some time)

Snow is not a problem as it never happens here
but getting a bin bag large enough for my 1.8m
dish might be hard and the wind an issue.
However, putting a plastic collar around the
lnb to keep water off its face made a significant
difference to its performance in medium rain.

Again, check your symbolrate (must be a menu option somewhere),
also check if you selected the right satellite in the scanning menu if it has one,

After two days, I got my new ebay LNB from Germany.
A 20 minutes works and it was up and working perfectly with my *old/
current* analog TV satellite receiver system.
But with the QQ BOX, nothing changed :) Strength 83, Quality 4%
Next thing, I'll try installing it on an old XP box, it bugs
constantly under Vista (even root) yet it shouldn't.

I might try using a black bag at some point, but so far
the white bag is doing the job "swimmingly." The elevation
angle on the dish (Dish 500) is 43 degrees.

Here it hardly ever snows and my dish is very well accessible. :-)
I think in this case a dark coloured bag would be even better as it collects
more heat from the sun.

Anyway, I think this is a very good idea. It seems effective, doesn't cost
much and I suppose it will also protect the dish against corrosion.
