Hi The gearbox in my 1970 series IIA is falling apart - first gear appears to have some damaged/missing teeth and I think the layshaft bearings are on their way out. I'm looking for a late suffix (non-syncro) IIA box to replace it with, I'm not too fussed about condition beyond casing not damaged and serviceable shafts/gears would be nice as well since I will... more »

I need to fit a new front prop and rear prop rubber coupling to my D1 300 tdi, anything I need to know? Is it a simple job and anyone know the nut/bolt size as I only have metric tools!

3.5 V8i, 1992 K (or might be '93, I forget) manual, about 114K miles I think. Good: engine, 'box (no obvious signs of spline wear - I think it'd had a recon box in before we bought it), LPG with twin underfloor tanks. Recently had new vented front discs and new calipers. RR Classic Heater Blower - quick way of removing?

I have a 1993 Classic with a dodgy heater motor - is there a way to get it out without removing the complete dash and heater box? Unlike the earlier model the blower seems to be inside the heater box. Alex
