110 Defender LPG for Sale
Yes Austin - it's your old one! It seemed a good idea at the time - it always does! I was going to fit out this Defender CSW as a Clumber Spaniel Wagon to take my dogs, equipment and family to dog shows around the UK. Recently it has become obvious that even a bespoke design of the interior, won't give me... more »

Harmonic steering wobble
Well the second Britpart Dynamic Damper has now started doing the same thing, the boss was with me collecting the Christmas Tree and she was not amused, it's so violent it's frightening! As soon as I hit any bump in the road on a slight bend at over 35 mph it does it and I have to slow down to stop it happening and creep along. The whole vehicle starts to shake... more »

Buying Advice, Disco 2 or 3
Hi Folks, The Disco 1 is waiting forlornly outside the garage, who tomorrow I expect to tell me that a sumpsworth of oil dumped in about 20 miles is probably the result of a bad and expensive thing, and may wellhave resulted in several other bad or expensive things. As a result or learning no lessons thus far from land rover ovwnership... more »

OT: Auto Gearboxes - general
Sorry to be so OT, but I've been searching and asking without much joy. Apologies to anyone who has seen earlier postings elsewhere. I've had 3 Carlton/Omega automatics. The gearboxes were fine on the first 2 - went to 200k with no gearbox problems. The 3rd is just under 100k, and the gearbox is fine - it's just the rest of the car that they... more »

P38 air filter box
Anyone looking for the air filter box from a Range Rover P38 1995? Mine is LPG and the old box was in the rear so I have no use for it. There is even a filter which seems ok at a glance. I will clean it all up, full of dust and cobwebs now but it is not broken or missing owt as I can see. Photos will be... more »

Tyre/rim storage
Just put a set of winter tyres on a spare set of rims. Now have 4 rims with summer tyres on that need storage. What is the best way? Lying down on top of each other in a stack or stood as they would be on vehicle? They will be in an unheated garage for probably 5 months.

Finding a Chassis Number
I have a 1985 110 CSW and there is no sign of the chassis number where I would expect it - that is on the RHS chassis rail behind the front bumper on the lower piece of chassis member. Are any of this group aware of anywhere else it may have been stamped on the chassis for this age/type of vehicle?... more »
