I see it's still available through Starz, but the price is $14.99 plus shipping. If you need anything else from Amazon, you get free shipping over $25.
But Deep Discount has it for $8.99 with Free Shipping. :-)
> A little lesson for Garry... check out what your competition is charging.
They're counting on all those folks who only buy from "Barry's Official Site." Buying anywhere else is being a bad fan and "not supporting Barry." Besides, you get all those nifty points that allow you to save thousands of dollars on other Starz stuff. ;^)

PRESS RELEASE
Rhino, in Association with STILETTO New Media Present New 'Barry Manilow Happy Holiday!' DVD Available Right Now
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Since the holiday season is right around the corner, Barry Manilow's latest holiday DVD, "Barry Manilow Happy Holiday!," is available in stores today. "Barry Manilow Happy Holiday!" is Barry's holiday-themed television special from A&E's "Live By Request." Originally broadcast from New York City on a snowy December night in 2003, this show is one of the highest-rated A&E "Live By Request" performances ever and will be sure to get you in the Holiday spirit.
"Barry Manilow Happy Holiday!" conveys all the warmth and generosity that fills the human heart to its depths during the holiday season. This DVD provides the opportunity to join Barry and his special guests - Jose Feliciano and Cyndi Lauper - as he takes telephone requests from home viewers for their favorite Christmas songs, including "Jingle Bells," "White Christmas," "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer," "It's Just Another New Year's Eve," and more.
"I've wanted to release this fantastic program ever since we did it. It was LIVE - really Live - and it was thrilling. We had a big orchestra playing these great arrangements, all of us never knowing what the caller would request. Such great energy for the entire show. And it began to snow during the afternoon so that by the time we were to begin, the city was practically shut down. But you'd look out the window and see all of Brooklyn and Manhattan covered in white with snow gently falling. And then we began singing 'Happy Holiday!' What a great night!" states Barry Manilow.
In addition, Manilow recently released his Christmas album "In The Swing Of Christmas," which is actually the third album of holiday songs recorded by Manilow during his career. In 1990, he released the 10-song "Because It's Christmas" on Arista; and in 2002, Columbia issued "A Christmas Gift of Love."
He is busier than ever, having just performed his first ever solo concert at the Hollywood Bowl on October 24th, 2009, where in association with the Manilow Music Project and the Grammy Foundation he raised a donation of $100,000 in musical instruments for the LAUSD. The legendary entertainer is also recording his next album, "The Greatest Love Songs of All Time," which will be released in January 2010 in time for Valentine's Day.
In December Manilow together with the Manilow Fund for Health and Hope, will present "A Gift of Love...," a five-night holiday concert series at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, CA. The concert series, beginning on December 4th, 2009 and continuing on December 5th, 7th, 8th and 9th, will honor 25 local charities in Palm Springs, California, the singer's hometown--each night benefiting five of the beneficiary charities. Tickets are available at www.starz.bz/agiftoflove. Earlier this year Manilow donated $500,000 in musical instruments to schools in the Palm Springs/Coachella Valley area.
With worldwide record sales exceeding 75 million, Barry Manilow is ranked as the top Adult Contemporary chart artist of all time, according to R&R (Radio & Records); with no less than 25 consecutive top 40 hits to his credit between 1975 and 1983, on the Billboard Hot 100. Manilow has worked on over 40 albums over the course of his career as a singer, songwriter, arranger and producer.

It's simply a direct copy of Stiletto's press release. Interesting to see how they like to put a "spin" on things, huh?
> Interesting to see how they like to put a "spin" on things, huh?
Right, as if the DVD and the "In The Swing Of Christmas" CD had never been offered before. ;^)
What I thought was funny was that some media sites included the DVD in their Nov. 3 release lists, THEN came a hotline, THEN came the press release. Sorta the cart before the horse.

I have this mental image of "someone" reading the newsgroup and seeing the post about the DVD's release yesterday. Then a phone call is made to an underling, asking why he didn't send out a hotline about a DVD he knew nothing about. So he checks for info on Starz.bz, and fires off a hotline while the PR folks scramble to write a press release for a DVD they also knew nothing about. ;^)
