What would make me laugh is if you died at that exact time.

Knock it off with that dead thing, already!

Heh. I knew basing my transvestite cop and smarmy pooch characters on you
pair was a sure fire winner. You guys are funny.

Pity the cunt didn't get a life sentence.

Can't remember what the root inspiration was but the characters coalesced
around John being the tranny and you being the smarmy pooch. It must've been
that Devlin Waugh and Devil's Guard thing. Plus, I was watching some movies
and looking at shit, and the thing just popped out.

Dunno why this got triggered. It must be the associative memory thing.

Just a few months back I saw some black guy in a pink dress drive past on a
scooter (which is only slightly more believable than seeing some
unmistakable Irish drunk I knew stagger past the garage I was at while the
tank was being filled a few weeks after everyone had gone to his fucking
funeral).

I reckon, there's some Dirt Harry and Dirk Gently thing going on with this
franchise idea. Some sort of violent black comedy thing.

Yeah, now I recall the Devils Guard reference. You already told me that,
D'oh! The three of them are a good read. On that note, it's high time that
The Black Library site was back up. I've exhausted my cache of Warhammer
books....

I thought that Hitchicker's was crap. Mind you I remember getting a hiding
at school years ago for daring to state my opinion of The Lord Of The Flies.
Shit. And similarly, getting the same for reading a book I enjoyed- The
Throwback, by Tom Sharpe. Apparently it was too adult for my 13 years on
this planet. Tachy took it ill when I refused confiscation of said book on
the grounds that it was privately purchased by me, and confiscation would
therefore be theft from a private individual......

I borrowed the Chronicles of Gor off my sister. They warped me years.

Got a hammering off the headmaster for eating crisps in the library because
some prefect was on a power trip. He had this way of grinning when he was
giving you a bollocking as if to say "this hurts me more than it hurts you".
I wasn't but the nickname "Smiler" I gave him stuck for years afterwards.

If you want an acid trip visit your old school when you've grown up. All
those oldg hosts flooding back and the place looks like some crazed and
shrunken loony bin for hyperactive midgets.

Between the drugs and fucking teacher I'm surprised kids want to leave.
Christ, it was trifle and hard nipples when the heating broke down when I
went to school if you were lucky.

Yeah, well. Devlin's obviously a wuss isn't he. My character charges head
first into unfeasibly sticky un-get-outable situations!

Actually, it's half an idea because I didn't make proper notes. But, you
never know where this stuff can lead. I need to get some concept art done
and work the story stuff out. Might never happen but it's fun.
