2000 AD greatest progs were around the Prog 335 era (September 1983):

Dredd
Slaine
Nemesis
Strontium Dog
Rogue Trooper

2000 AD's finest moment. 10 out 10. Perfection in comic form.

I remember the era well.
I was addicted to the Nemesis stories.
Took me much, much linger to like Stront but always like Dredd and
Rogue.
I can't remember the Slaine stories that long ago!

About that time I had a complete brain freeze and stopped getting the
comic.

Probably for price reasons.  Wasn't well off.
