Problem now solved.
Jaguar have a Service Action notice to all Dealers to fit a new "Throttle
Body" free of charge.
I had it fitted yesterday. The FREE deal expires at the end of December 2009

been looking for, without any real success, a comprehensive wiring
diagram of this car that I can download and print sothat I can circuit
trace a couple of minor circuit issues in this car, most notably
