98 528 trunk latch issue

When I got the car the trunk could not be opened by pressing on the contact pad just above the license plate. This last weekend the button on the interior of the car (by the pedals) stopped working. I can still open the trunk via the button on the key which tells me that it is (probably) not actuator or solenoid related.... more »

Hello, I have bought a used 2003 Z4 and for some reason the "Z" and the "4" on the driverside trunk are not there. Did they have a year where it wasn't put on.? I have googled this and searched E Bay and can find lots of BMW badges etc. but not the "Z" and the "4". Is there a place online besides... more »

Sunroof shade off its track

Hi, I'm new here, and I have a small problem with my 2004 BMW 325xi: The sunroof shade seems to be off its track. With the sunroof closed, the shade can be opened only about three inches. If I raise the sunroof, the shade does not retract, and it can be slid back a few inches manually. I've looked at it and don't see any... more »

Weird noise on E46 318i (N42B20)

Hi, On the last couple of weeks I started noticing a strange "rattle" sound coming from the engine bay. The noise is can only be noticed around 1000rpm (like when idling when cold) and goes away in higher rpms. Today I removed the intake cover and recorded this video.. [link]... more »
