You show your ignorance. Marx did not invent socialism. Heck, its even
used (to humorous effect), in 'Tom Jones' (1749). The use there
requires that the reader be familiar with the idea.

For starters, North Korea. Red China, East Germany (in fact, all the
old Warsaw Pact countries). Cuba, Vietnam, Cambodia, the USSR.
(socialism has failed in some of these of course, and they are now
struggling out of the hole it dug for them).
Can you name a socialist country, Lefty? If not, why not?

Manifesto. Read it and learn.

Begging the question. Presumes premise is accepted as factual. Prove

I'm also reminded of French Premier Georges Clemenceau (1841-1929):
"Not to be a socialist at twenty is proof of want of heart; to be one
at thirty is proof of want of head."
(he's actually paraphrasing Guisot).
My guess is that 'Lefty' is very young, or at least, young at heart.
Even granted what 'Lefty' is saying, history shows us that 'socialism'
