If the sight of an ultrasound can change the heart and mind of a mass murderer, imagine the powerful influence it would have with a young woman contemplating killing her pre-born child. Ultrasounds should be mandatory before every perspective abortion in America.
Planned Parenthood Director in Texas Resigns, Watched Ultrasound of Abortion
by Steven Ertelt LifeNews.com Editor November 2, 2009
Bryan, TX (LifeNews.com) -- The director of a Texas-based Planned Parenthood has resigned her position saying that she has had a change of heart on abortion. The development highlights the powerful results ultrasounds have in convincing people of the humanity of the unborn child and the need to oppose abortions. Abby Johnson had been the director of the Planned Parenthood center in this college town, that is home to Texas A&M University, until she turned in her resignation on October 6.
She tells KBTX that seeing an ultrasound instantaneously prompted her to quit.
"I just thought I can't do this anymore, and it was just like a flash that hit me and I thought that's it," she said.
In the interview, Johnson admitted that Planned Parenthood doesn't make its money on promoting contraception or family planning, but through abortion.
"It seemed like maybe that's not what a lot of people were believing any more because that's not where the money was. The money wasn't in family planning, the money wasn't in prevention, the money was in abortion and so I had a problem with that," she admitted.
She also told KBTX she was told to bring in more women for abortions -- something that contradicted her Episcopalian upbringing.
"I feel so pure in heart (since leaving). I don't have this guilt, I don't have this burden on me anymore that's how I know this conversion was a spiritual conversion," she said.

Note: I don't think of abortionists as murderers, not even late-term abortionists like Carhart, although at one time (1992-7) I thought the late-term ones should be treated as such under our laws. But I have come to believe that "manslaughter" is the right category for them, as do you, Ray.

Because it's actually the pro-liars who are the terrorists and murderers.

A baby who at the moment is geographically located inside the mother's womb.

** Thanks. . Babies breathe air. Since there is no air inside a womb, do these babies bring a breathing tube with them when they move in?

Do you celebrate your conception day?
Shouldn't citizenship be determined by where you were conceived?
If abortion is murder then miscarriage is manslaughter or accidental homicide, no?

So, all you have to do is move the "baby" outside the womb, where the mother doesn't want it to be, and both will be happy. Of course, if the baby cannot survive outside a womb, that's hardly the mother's fault, is it?

And if the mother doesn't want her 6 month old to be in the house just move it outside. Of course, if the baby cannot survive outside the house, that's hardly the mother's fault is it?

It's called "adoption".

Once somebody else assumes care of the baby, then what happens isn't her fault.

Then your wrong again. That is a fetus, not a baby. And no matter how many times you lie about it, it will never be a baby either.

Well, fauxNy, abortion has never been murder, in any legal code, under common law, or in the bible.
And bearing false witness *is* a sin ... so that means you'll burn in hell. That's your bible, your rules. You go burn.

Is that 6 months after BIRTH? There is no disagreement that a woman is responsible for a baby *after it is born*. There is no such agreement when they are still in the womb. If a woman wants to put a 6 month old up for adoption, she should be able to do so. Same goes for a fetus.

There's just one flaw with that - a fetus is not a living, human being. Adopting something that is not a child is as crazy as marrying something that is not an adult.
Now - that may be the way things are done in inbred, hillbilly communities - where they believe in talking snakes that the US government is the enemy. But that's not how it's done in mainstream America.
