Don't think it will come as much of a surprise to anyone looking at a chart in the last few days but we have decided to cancel this weekends' rescheduled round of the Scottish Nationals on Arran.
 
It looks as though it could clear up for Sunday but not necessarily enough to make it safe to fly for the majority of pilots. Its never a good thing to cancel a round (particularly Arran as its usually one of the better weekends in the series) but the weather simply hasn't been playing ball this year.
 
As before, if we have good enough weather on any forthcoming weekend, we will try to reschedule the Tinto and Highland rounds. The next fixed date in the calendar is the Ochils round on 13/14 September.
