Kev and I are going to risk the showers again and meeting at Dinnet at 11 (to
car share from there). My mobile is 07740 593 788 if you wantr an update.

Yesterday we went to Tap at first. I arrived at the same time as the first big
drops of rain, while Kev sheltered in the trees halfway up the hill. An hour
later it eased enough for him to come down.

We then drove towards Braemar but stopped to fly at Tom Dudh (on the Corgarf
to Ballater road) (couldn't see or hear any shooting). Very pouchy thermals
with more wind than forecast that swung round as we were flying to too far
south. At least we got our feet off the ground for a while and Kev got to dry
his flying suit out.

Driving back we'd considered the Tap again but there were still showers about
there (and were while we were flying at Tom Dubh as well)  so didn't divert.

Matt

Least you both got your feet of the deck, I was to busy.
The sky looked really good particulary between 1-4 with a wind going W
to SW and true to form when I got away a see breeze convergance sets
up at 4:30 and by the time I get to the Knock of Formal it North!
Then to cap it all at 6:30 it starts heaving it down. Looks nice today
but for how long?
Catch up at boat club tomorrow?
Anyone want mushrooms?
Scott
