Want to get image banners over text.

Hi folks
Not sure what i am doing wrong, but i am only getting text based ad-
banners on my site, and not 'traditional' image-based ones, which
would be a lot more desirable.
I am running vertical + horizontal ones, but even after months, i
haven't seen one image
Any clues?
