My site had a page rank of 4 for about eight months. I switched
hosting companies from Yahoo to a new hosting company and about two
weeks later my page rank dropped to 0.
Is this because I moved hosting companies?
There are some files that I did not transfer, they were old and did
not match my current format so I did not move them to my new host but
at the same time, did not delete them off of Yahoo hosting.
So now I have 100-200 pages that are kind of in limbo. Could that be
the problem?
Also, any idea what will happen with those pages? I've contact Yahoo
to see how I can get them deleted but I have not heard back.
Important
1) Did you also change your domain.
2) Did your traffic drop from Google.
The only thing that really matters is (2).
I've redirected domains for customer and (1) may appy in that case.
Visitors should be all you care about.
