Can please anyone help me? I simply can't seem to find the right place
where to stick my AdSense codes.
Either that or the Adds aren't there yet.
I understand the codes have to go between the <body> ... <body>
thingies, so I did that and now a blank hole appears at the top of my
blog.
Can anyone help me?
Would anyone be happy to see my HTML thing if I send it on a Word
document and underline the right place for me?
Thank you so much in advance.
It would be enough if you let us know the url and the spot where you
want your ads to appear on screen. We could point you to where to
paste the code.
Anyway try waiting a couple of hours at least (or better a full day)
for the adsense bot to crawl your pages. It may be the adsense has not
have yet found ads to match so that's why empty holes appear.

There is no 'right' or 'wrong' place for ad units - it depends on the
design of the site, and the audience as to what will work best.
If your blog is with Blogger, then you need to add the code via the
layout page - click 'add a gadget' wherever you would like the ads to
go, and then scroll down till you see the html/javascript box and
paste in there. If it's with some other blogging service, then you
may need to ask in their help forums, since not all types of blog
support Adsense.

Thank you so much for your answers.
Yes it is with Blogger.
I am able to find the layout page, and also I can see 'add a gadget'
and understand you can add it on the right-hand side, at the bottom,
etc.
But then all I can see when I click is many applications and also the
'add your own (gadget)'. But when I click in there, all I can see is I
must add a URL ?? Which one?

In the gadgets, when you click that, you need to scroll down until you
see the box labelled 'html/javascript' - then paste the full Adsense
code in there, and save.
Alternatively, you can use the gadget labelled 'Adsense' and generate
the code within Blogger itself, making sure it picks up the correct
publisher-id. This makes it easier for matching exact colours, but
you cannot use custom channels using the Adsense gadget, and you also
cannot then 'manage' the ad unit within Adsense.
